In 2015, Architectural Digest published an extensive article on David Salle’s home and studio in East Hampton. This view of a sitting area showcases Martha Diamond’s Winds (1988, oil on canvas). The watercolor over the fireplace is by the Kansas Regionalist painter William Dickerson (1904-1972), who mentored Salle when he was growing up in Wichita. Photo: William Waldron
